Heritage — Est. Australia

Forty years of professional audio, rebuilt as one platform.

The Story

Violet Audio brings together the people behind some of the most-used consoles in the industry — reactivated as a single brand to carry that engineering forward. The dMix line traces its DSP lineage to work done in Australia over a decade ago that went on to shape the Soundcraft Ui24R, developed in partnership with DSPRO, our Brazil-based technology partner in digital audio networks and remote stage boxes.

DSP & Firmware

DSP and firmware engineer whose signal-processing work shaped the Ui24 platform, now applied to the dMix routing and processing engine.

Backed by an international team of audio engineers and design professionals, and built on “designing advanced, scalable platforms and building real-world products around them.”

Inside every unit

Every dMix runs on a Xilinx Zynq system-on-chip — FPGA fabric and processor cores on one board, tuned for deterministic, sample-accurate DSP rather than general-purpose computing. It's the same engineering approach the team applied to the Ui24, now built to scale to 128 channels and beyond.

01

Transparency first

Precision, control, and audio integrity — signal paths engineered for minimal coloration and ultra-low latency, not just headline specs.

02

Built to run unattended

Industrial-grade components and dual redundant power supplies, engineered for 24/7 operation in studios, venues, and broadcast facilities.

03

Platforms, not one-offs

A common routing engine and control language across the line, plus an international network — including our partners at DSPRO — built to scale.
